If you’ve never been there before, you can find it on the second floor of the Shopping Plaza to the left when getting off the Elevators from the Gate Area or on the East Side of the map.

If you want to fully transfer your character’s play data, that’s the whole account linking progress and you can not link your Global account to Japan unfortunately.īefore anything else, if you haven’t done this before, you want to log into the character whose data you want to transfer over and head to the Salon. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS JUST FOR APPEARANCE DATA OF A CHARACTER. Whether you want to see your PSO2 character in NGS or maybe you just switched computers and want to keep any character appearance data you may have saved or just want to move them to a different version of PSO2 (whether a different client or region), this essentially explains where the files go and where you need to move them! UPDATE 2: Just received a response from Sega as of May 20.I’ve had a few people ask me on Twitter and Youtube after doing this, so I figured I’d make a quick guide explaining it that can hopefully help some people out! I've got a list of basic troubleshooting steps to run through first, then I'll follow up and see what happens. They say that they don't necessarily respond to bug reports, so it seems like they're taking it seriously. UPDATE 1: Sega responded to my bug report surprisingly quickly. Quite disappointing when you've spent a considerable amount of time in the character editor. Not sure if the tool or my files are the issue, honestly. I also happened across a tool on GitHub for editing character data files outside the game, but any attempt to fix my files with it only made things worse. Searching this error produces just one relevant result that I could find-a GameFAQs forum post from 10 months ago that never got any answer. This happens with both classic PSO2 and NGS characters. I have to cancel out and get back in before saving anything is possible again. What's weird is, this error will occur after loading data even if I undo the changes. Instead, it'll go through the overview of changes and what passes are required, then give an error message:Īn error occurred in the appearance editing data. But if I load up saved creation data, the salon no longer allows me to exit. So basically, anytime I make changes to my character directly, they'll save fine. Already filed a bug report for this, but figured I'd drop in here as well to see if anyone else has encountered this issue.
